I have noticed that the scrolling is fast again, once I rotate the tablet. It stays like that until after some time it gets slow again. Only appears in the browser, no other apps. I did not yet figure out what could trigger the issue.
I saw in the steps for flashing Android firmware that dtbo is another partition. So I flashed it as well. I didn't notice much difference with or without it though, but if it was part of the build, it probably makes sense to flash it π€·πΌβ π
@MrT10001 Very good, I will await updates. Thanks for your guidance!
First impression of UT on the x306f is excellent. Gotta try out some browsers - is Firefox or IceWeasel available somewhere? Or, dare I hope, Ungoogled Chromium?
Been searching for an open-source tablet to use with my D&D game (5e.tools, DungeonMastersVault, etc).
@Keneda The poster might not be porting this device, but the question nevertheless is a porting question. Since they are in effect running UT on an unsupported device.
The move is a gentle encouragemt to take on the challenge of porting, or at the very least collaborating with the porter, since Ruben does not have access to this device.
@sutter_kaine 2GB devices are limited to Android 10 firmware, i built this using Android 11 Firmware, and i must say android 10 kernel is missing code like camera sensors etc.
So no, sorry
@marinheiro
