First up, this is a super minor UI thing, just wondered what other people's thoughts / insights were really. I tried to make sure no one had posted about this in the past and didn't seem to find anything, so hopefully i'm not multi posting here.

The toolbar gets cut off on phones with curved screen corners, and get covered by forward facing camera notches on phones like OnePlus 6T. The example mock-up is based on OnePlus6T and please ignore my extremely lively background from the screenshot, hehe.

I just wondered if any one else has done anything that stops it being cut off on the corners / stops it being covered by camera notches? Or if there was anything I could do to stop it being cut off, like changing a config or something to add toolbar icon padding or something? Or if there was any work being done on any solutions for this?

Outside of the above, I thought it could be pretty cool to have some added toolbar customization or something a bit like what Firefox desktop browser has under 'toolbar customization', where you can rearrange elements, remove them, or add 'spacer elements' that pad areas out that could be used to avoid notches and curved corners.

Note: I'm not actually using OnePlus 6T currently, so really only the screen edges effect me currently.

Any thoughts / insights are welcome, im also a forum noob, so apologies in advance for anything I have done wrong etc. just let me know : )
Thanks so much for the reply!

Oh, ooops, you are 100% correct, by 'curved' i did mean 'rounded', sorry about that

Oooo that's great news though, i totally don't mind if anything system related gets messed up and I need to reflash, I've managed to break things a few times in the past years all by myself, hehe

I had a quick dig online, perchance is this your package? -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dLci4PxdUQ - if so, this looks amazing : O

Because I don't remember any issue woth curved edges
In any case, yes there's work being for this but I'm not sure when it'll land in an update. If you're willing to take the risk, there are a few workarounds. I don't have a link for the first one though but there's something called the notch hack. The other one is created by me but it's a package (Lomiri Plus) which includes a lot more hacks. I am planning to create a minimal package that includes only the notch and rounded corners support and perhaps some other "core" hacks. But as mentioned, these work arounds have some risk involve. Although they're not significant, they can still break your system which will require a reflash.
