<p dir="auto">To be honest. I am trying to follow you, but am not that expert and do not know how to run a script or how to use your script. Just do not steps.</p>
<p dir="auto">Just for the record, Apple has recently allowed in her IOS 18 to change icons following Android.</p>
<p dir="auto">Therefore, that should be pretty easy in Ubuntu Touch and hope this will be considered in the near future, same like Ubuntu Desktop, or if you remember Nokia when changing icons was pretty easy back old days. Even my monster (<strong>Nokia N900</strong>) has a variety of options and easy hacking and altering, even though it is based on <strong>Maemo OS</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>FYI</strong>, till now am trying to understand how to use commands in UT Terminal, a bit difference using it in my laptop :face_with_tears_of_joy:.</p>
<p dir="auto">Thanks again and hope to see improvement later on.</p>
<p dir="auto">By the way, I have installed latest Custom Phablet Tools version and nothing happened.</p>

<p dir="auto">So it is really frustrating and suppose to be easy.</p>
<p dir="auto">Even though I have tried Humanity icons which is already inside the device. Took the folder and put the path. Nothing Happen.</p>
<p dir="auto">Therefore, could you please give me a screen shot for a successful icons from your side. I want to see how did you put the path.</p>

If you know some bash scripting you can see the script at: <code>/opt/click.ubuntu.com/icon-changer.ikozyris/current/assets/customicon.sh</code>.<br />

Sorry for the confusion, just tested and it works only if the path <strong>doesn't</strong> have a / at the end.<br />
e.g.  /home/phablet/Downloads/icons<br />
The path can be anywhere you want, as the script is run with sudo.</p>

Use the .click built from the <code>hacky-works</code> branch (should be the latest artifact), then</p>
<ol>
<li>Create your folder:<br />
<code>/home/phablet/Downloads/icons/</code></li>
<li>Rename your icons accordingly, must match <a href="https://gitlab.com/ikozyris/icon-changer/-/tree/bb4e3956481ba77c0bee71b0fa141a9d92524fc6/icons/line" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">the names here</a><br />
Another way to get the names (even of the apps not already available):<br />
Install an icon pack e.g., line, then:<br />
<code>ls /opt/click.ubuntu.com/icon-changer.ikozyris/current/assets/backup/</code><br />
You should get something like this:</li>

Preferably, restore to defaults before installing your own, or copy the backup directory somewhere else.<br />
3. Type the path <code>/home/phablet/Downloads/icons/</code> on the text box (with last /):<br />
