For some mysterious reason, my OnePlus 6T has recently started randomly rebooting many times per day, sometimes several times in an hour, when I'm not even using the phone. Does anybody know why, or what the fix could be?

On some I have added a thermal pad (like for PC CPU's) for the Snapdragon CPU - this is usually a last resort.

First thing to do is back up date and do a clean install to rule out software. But from experience the battery may be failing. Discharge it to zero and charge up a few times that can resolve it too. If it isn't software and you haven't replaced the battery, it could be overheating and may need an internal clean up.
