<![CDATA[tiling windows on lomiri]]>Hi
Quick question, are there any tiling window manager-like features to lomiri?
I use sway and miraclewm and I have got very comfortable with this setup. I get that lomiri (and UT more specifically) is designed for a different use case but I was curious if it would even be possible to add this in myself for using a UT device as a computer when docked.

I last used it years ago but I dont remember seeing anything about multiple DEs.

I don’t think Mir or QtMir would need changes for this. There is already a working tiling WM based on the Mir apis: Miracle-WM

It would indeed be nice to have tiling and there were people who already discussed about it showing interest but no one has yet to do the actual work πŸ˜…

If you know QML, you can already do some kind of prototype of it but the proper implementation needs to to do on the lower level stack too like Mir/QtMir.
