on the last call it was mentioned that the kernel supports wireguard, can this be implemented in the settings/VPN page?

Thanks @mariogrip for the big work on Morph.
A question about : is current morph preview enough secure to connect to accounts when possible ?

Edit : accounts : bank, amazon, ebay... where we have an account and access to our personal data and means of payments

                  Hello.
Is there any chance that rsync will return in a future OTA update for my favourite OS?
I did find a very old version via snap, but it's not great...
Thank you all for the continuous development and quality of UT!

                        Helloo 🙂
If it's possible, are you thinking of implementing RCS to send and receive messages ?
Thank you for the answer and the amazing work !

                          Hello,
It would be nice if some shell programs were included again in ubuntu touch:

                          fdisk
                          rsync
                          encfs
                          mat2

It would also be nice if ext4 was possible as a file system for the micro SD card.

Has the error with the incorrect GPS metadata in photos now been fixed?

Thank you very much and best regards
                          Charly

                          Greetings
                          Charly

I am having pixel 3aXL,xiaomi Redmi note 9 and xiaomi POCO X3 -all installed with ubuntu touch focal 20.04 -OTA11-RC,noble 24.04-1.1 RC and noble 24.04-1.x daily.Today i found that all the three devices failed to respond to JIO -4G sim ,and the signal strenth shows as denied. No carrier information shown or linked even after manually entered. But in android phones the sim is working normally without any fault. I even tried switching the channels in all the three devices. Also there is problem in switching the channels in system settings .I used Installer for switching the channels.Any help. Thanking you.

Firstly thanks to the community, Ubuntu Touch on my Fairphone 4 on 24.04-1.1 RC1 is awesome!

I would like to ask regarding the future of Ubuntu Touch, is it planned to move away from a Ubuntu base and move to something like Debian for example? If not, what are the advantages of a Ubuntu base?
