Just a quick message to encourage you.
The latest version, 24.04, has been a huge leap forward for me on my Fairphone 4. It's really stable.

I have been a Linux user since my adolescence. I know how to search and run command lines. I've installed Waydroid and a few apps with Libertine. Waydroid's freeze feature seems like a good temporary solution for limiting battery consumption. I don't know if it would be compatible with the permissions regime, but automating it when going to sleep or simplifying activation could be a plus.

If I had two requests, they would be the lack of a working Firefox and Discord app on Libertine. (I haven't managed to get them working yet.) And also the possibility of simply changing the DNS settings (to remove add)

Displaying desktop applications doesn't bother me. I've planned to use a dock.
I also wonder why it wouldn't be possible to promote things like "appimages" for office applications in Ubuntu Touch (but maybe snaps are the same thing.)
