<![CDATA[No support for bq Aquaris E5 FHD]]>I have a bq Aquaris E5 FHD, and i cant find any build, like not even Canonical's one, ive even searched in https://system-image.ubports.com/ im desperate! And its not like i can just go to the website and search it, because bq went out of buisness! So if someone has a link to the zip file with the images and the MTK scatter file, it would help a lot! You can't do much with Android Lollipop.
Just a reminder to anyone helping: I specifically need the FHD (1080p) version, not the HD (720p). The HD files use the MT6582 scatter, while my FHD model needs the MT6592 scatter. Using the wrong one will result in a hang/bootloop in the bq screen, thanks!

It has the Android edition top part, but doesnt have the buttons, still worked on android somehow... May have been a scrapped newspaper or developer version that went into the hands of someone? This was a kid's main phone before i got it. It was in the Mediamarkt electronics bin in Terrassa Parc Vallés of all places, the bin was full, with that phone on top. Im a bit ashamed of grabbing a phone off a bin, but that gives some backstory.

IDFK, and the blacked out buttons like in the ubuntu edition. When i got it it had Android 5 and dog photos, i gave it to my cousin until i gave her another, and i saw that ubuntu edition text, funnily enough the buttons worked in android? Oh, and i destroyed the IMEI in the process of flashing...

And even the supported ones are already unsupported now. They're stuck with xenial (16.04). That's 2 major versions down at this point (24.04 Noble).

That I know, but when a device has so little information on it, even sales documents, one must assume it wasn't popular and was probably eol of a line or an inbetweener. There is plenty about the HD version though.

What I did find was this however useful this is! (Downloads work, but it is not UT so meandering.....)

I am surprised there is no Canonical archive.

But I would be surprised if those images are still floating around anywhere.

I had to go through similar steps to flash my Meizu Pro 5. But at that time the Canonical images were still available.

All of this said though, that generation of devices never made it past Xenial. So @tacetion, I am afraid even if you did get to flash UT on your device, it would be just as much of a dead end now as Lollipop is.

That's why I'm looking for the Canonical factory zip. Since BQ's servers are dead, do you (or anyone) have a mirror of the original vegetafhd factory firmware? I need the MT6592 scatter and the raw images to prep the partitions before I move to UBports. Android Lollipop is a dead end!

But that is the UBports version of UT. If I remember correctly you need to flash the Canonical version before flashing the UBports version of UT.
