Big Tech agendas’ thrives because of the vast amount of profit they earn and are able pour back into their future plans while the hero developers from UBPorts and those amazing volunteer developers do so from the goodness in their hearts but of more simpler financial means. It seems like such an unfair fight and uphill battle for immense stakes (freedom and right to privacy).

As a simple individual of modest means, who wants to help and contribute to freedom enabling solutions such as UBPorts’ Ubuntu Touch and the volunteer developers, what would you recommend as the best ways to donate personal donations and time to help the cause? To help the amazing hero developers fighting the good fight. We need them. We won’t maintain personal freedom and privacy without them. I have 2 questions:

-Is there any ongoing plan to developing support for RCS? I think this could be the next blocking point for Ubuntu Touch, so I may contribute to a project to support RCS given that I can find time for that.

-What role and importance do you think offering options for all the most popular messaging protocols, have for UT's potential for adoption as a daily driver? Both the standard ones like SMS, MMS, RCS, email, but also the private ones like Whatsapp, Telegram, Signal, and even Facebook messenger?
