Can't find any useful information ... maybe I am too new to this here.
Thanks for feedback.
I have a few devices that have UT ported to them but the port has failed, usually no sound (a bit of a necessity with a communications device), no modem, wifi and so on. Porting devices fail for many reasons, one of the main reasons is proprietary drivers (that require reverse engineering) and kernel issues which can take a lot of dedication to sort out...

This is one of the things that could be in the way.

Other thoughts:

There may be a technical reason why the old port was never finished. Or not, I don't know.

A new port would be weeks or months of work, for a device that's over 10 years old, with 4 GB RAM max. That time may be better spent elsewhere.

So again my question: Is it possible to port current Touch to this device or not or is it impossible.
If it is impossible I would like to understand why it is impossible.
Thank you.

There is a port for Xenial (16.04), but there is no sound and has not been worked on for a long time. If you want a more up to date version of Android, check out /e/OS.
