@Moem My user was actually banned. But looks like an admin un-banned it. And yeah, it's really my name.

            Greetings from The Netherlands,
My name is Jan and I like the idea to have fun with a Linux based mobile OS. Certainly with the current developments in the (tech) world. A couple of months ago I started actively to de-google. When I reduced the amount of apps the switch to another android 'taste' would be easier. I bought a Nothing CMF 1 and installed e/os. I host my own nextcloud instance, and this combination works like a charm. I already work with linux boxes for a long time. When I read more about UbuntuTouch and PostmarketOS, I liked the idea to buy an FairPhone4, and do the 'next step' šŸ™‚
            Cheers, Jan

How can you trust that an app really won't send some company your location data, when you tell it not to? The only way you can trust a program not to do something it isn't supposed to do is if it is free software. ~ RMS

                  Hello everyone,

My name is Gabriel. After reading about the new Android developments, I decided that only Linux on mobile devices will have a future. I have been using Linux for about six years and am also a member of a Linux User Group. At the moment, I am happily using a Lenovo Tab M10 X306F with Ubuntu Touch.

                  Kind regards from Germany

                  Gabriel

                        Hey everyone,

I'm a senior software engineer who's recently gone down the privacy and self-hosting rabbit hole šŸ˜…

That naturally led me to exploring mobile OS alternatives, and Ubuntu Touch's focus on privacy and convergence really resonates with me. I'm excited to contribute where I can be most useful - just need to get oriented on where the team needs help most.

Looking forward to being part of the community!

                                  Hello forum,
my name is Charly. I come from Germany and have been using Linux on my PC for 30 years and on my cell phone for about 3 years.

Thank you everyone for the great work. I love my UT Volla X23 and use it as a daily driver.

I am pleased that the waiting time is for 24.04 is over and I hope that there are now resources for bug fixes and further developments.

If I had only one wish, I would want Bluetooth support for Waydroid.

                                  Thank you & best regards
                                  Charly
