Running Antergos arch linux, cable's ok.</p>

I've never had any problems using Ubuntu.</p>
<p dir="auto">Do make sure though that the phone is "active", i.e. that you've swiped the welcome screen away. That ought to show the Nexus 5 in your "files". Then, for me, it just acts like an external hard drive.</p>
<p dir="auto">Your USB cable's okay?</p>
