    Hello Guys
    I install unity8 in 16.04
    But it appears
"The following packages have unmet dependencies:
unity8-desktop-session : Depends: unity8 but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: qtubuntu-print but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages."

    Then install the lost packet
    Appeared

"The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    unity8 : Depends: unity-launcher-impl-13
Depends: unity8-common (= 8.20+ubports+0~20181116101524.8~1.gbpe2f3f3) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: unity8-private (= 8.20+ubports+0~20181116101524.8~1.gbpe2f3f3) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
    "
    These packages are missing "unity8-schemas"
The image above appears when installing unity 8-schemas
    *"Err:1 http://repo.ubports.com xenial_-edge-mir/main i386 unity8-schemas all 8.20+ubports+0~20181116101524.8~1.gbpe2f3f3

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?"*
And use --fix-missing Can not use
    Please fix it thanks.

  • I'm not sure what you're doing here, or how you even got a Packages.gz that refers to those files which never existed. There are no i386 builds in the UBports repo at all.

Are you trying to install on amd64 or i386? Also, installing unity8 on 16.04 amd64 has been broken for a long time. I don't think any recent changes fixed that.
