If it's missing, is there any way to install it without reinstalling an android rom?

According to Florian yes there is probably a missing config file. We would need to supply one and then a fake MAC would need to be created. This is due to there being alot of OPO varients. A fix/guide is being worked on.

Just updated the previous post. Somehow the SIM died.
Thanks for the answers. All that's missing now, is the firmware on my sons OPO....

My brain is in Sunday mode now big time and I cannot remember where everything is. Hopefully you will have an answer shortly. Sorry for the delay.

Aaand one more update. Wifi works now - after reinstalling anbox (don't think it's related - probably the reboot). Still No SIM error which is really bad. Any way to go back to OTA6?

Update: I tried another SIM and that works. Somehow the SIM died just as I upgraded. It doesn't work in another phone either..

And for the record, I just reinstalled my own OPO (the other one is my sons), and lo and behold - both wifi and cell network are broken.
All I did was switch channels, and reinstall the anbox kernel. My sons OPO is using the normal kernel - anbox is not installed....

Everything worked ok with android I take it. If so which one are you on now and what was it when all was Ok. I guess all was working until recently ? Just on the off chance see if changing to the dev channel fixes it.
