Is there a mailing list I should join? A github project (I couldn't find one)? I'm currently developing kernels, boot loaders, device trees, etc for custom hardware at the company I work for, so I may as well help with this.

I (wrongly) thought the OP3T was already supported by native linux distros of one form or another and bought one. Great phone, but I bought it JUST to put desktop linux on

Well things have change a little bit since MWC: Canonical has stopped development for all phones, and since we are now in the position of having to not only work on porting but also drive the development of the OS as such, there is little to no time for new devices.

We are limited in time and resources, and we need all power now to stabilize the devices we already got AND try to move forward to a 16.04 image, to new Qt, work on Halium integration etc. So, sorry to say, but there is no ETA for OP3/T now.
