I just started using ubuntu touch this week and I'm unable to find a vpn app. I did try the vpn editor with the free version of proton vpn to see if this would be a good option. I have had no look getting this to work. I have followed the step by step guide that was put up on https://ubports.com/blog/ubports-blog-1/post/vpn-on-ubuntu-touch-178. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I have tried to reach out to proton vpn but they said they don't support this platform. Can anyone assist me with this. My goal is to fully switch, but I can't see not having the use of a VPN.

@Eshier I have done this myself but not for some time but am planning to do so again soon, so if your not sorted by then I will get back to you. Go through it all again and double check everything i kept making a mistake with some thing I needed from the protonvpn free channel I was using once that was corrected all worked fine. That was on a OPO. There is also this but I think you will have seen it https://ubports.com/blog/ubport-blog-1/post/using-vpn-in-ubuntu-touch-132

Just another thought you are using the VPN editor app from the OpenStore. It is much easier than system settings.

I finally have it working. I had to use a different provider. I'm using PIA vpn. For some reason, Proton vpn will not work. I'm not sure if its how I'm setting it up but, I have followed the guide with no success. Hopefully I can assist those in need in the future with the same problem. Thanks for the reply.
