I tried installing UT on my one plus one (already rooted). I used the Windows installer. After that, it just kept staying on the bootup screen of "UB Ports" "

So i'm trying it with the installer on Ubuntu. Once it gets to the part where it wants me to click "power + volume up", it just won't boot back up. It says it's trying to "fastboot".

Not sure what to do....I'm no linux guru, but I am technical.

Where any partions changed or was it encrypted. If encrypted you will need to wipe and factory reset it. If partions changed they will need to be reset first, maybe reflash android or linage first.

I put the phone in "fast boot", by clicking "Reboot to bootloader". Also the installer on computer is saying "scanning for fastboot", but it's not seeing it. ..... I'm at a loss.

It can be a bit confusing at times
