by "desktop Ubuntu touch" I meant Ubuntu Touch in convergence mode or installed on a desktop computer (that should be the same)

For the desktop OS Ubuntu by Canonical, the short answer was: I don't think so...

But clickable is used for app development and it allows to run apps on the desktop.
But that's a huge gun for such a small target (it uses a docker image of UT to run the app within...)
