Looking forward to the update. This project is very exciting, thank you so much for all your hard work.

Here are a few questions 😉

I think last time it was mentioned that click will stay for the foreseeable future since there are some missing features in snap. Looking at the click project on Launchpad this seams pretty unmaintained. Are there already plans how to tackle this problems and what is the way forward? Fork click? Fix snap? Are other solutions like flatpack considered or are they not an option?

Regarding app development, I'm not sure if I understand this correctly, but if you currently want to create an app you need some QT fork which supports Mir or can I just run any X11/Wayland application? If not, will this change in the future with everything moving towards Wayland?

@UniSuperBox I'm following the UBports continues work with great pleasure and interest.

            I have 2 questions...

            1. Will you have a regular release scedule for OTA's in the (near) future, i.e. like a bimonthly release or something simillar
            2. One of the biggest "selling points" for UT was / is convergence and that you should be able to use the same SW on your computer as your cell... And actually the device should be the same. Canonical delivered the Librecontainer that did almost create that possibility. But one annoying thing (there where others to) was that you couldnt connect with the HW of your device due to "security". So libre office couldnt store files on the SDcard, OpenCPN couldnt reach the GPS and Skype wouldnt be able to connect to camera or mic... Are the UBports working on any solution to get convergens work? (Updating libre or something new?) Any timeline?

            Br,

            Lars

I have an only question.. (sorry for my english).

There are several important apps in the system, these apps had working development itself, with it's update calendar.

What's the situation of apps like Dekko or system apps...Is there any communication with these developers or others older Canonical developers?

Could to be interesting to have feedback or progress of work done by them.

Very good work... Thanks for to do us dream with a true free mobile system.

              Luis.

What features are you most interested in adding, and which would you want most? Ignoring everything technical, purely based on your usage and desires.

Everyone believes that their actions are better than the alternatives.
