          Hi @ramonb. You asked a similar question in march.

          Are you looking to port Ubuntu Touch to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, or are you looking for an existing port to install on your device? The latter does not exist. It would be up to you to start the former. A step by step guide would not be possible, because many steps you would need to figure out yourself.

            Hi @ramonb,

            If you'd like to port Ubuntu Touch to your device, please see our porting documentation.

            The first step to take would be to read this documentation.

                @ramonb Then I am afraid the answer is that that is not possible at the moment.

                The OS will have to be ported to this device before you can install it. And there is no one to our knowledge that is working on such a project at the moment for this device.

                  @ramonb

                  The porting section of the forum is for people trying to port to a new device.
                  Questions regarding whether a device will be port or not is off topic.
                  I'll move this to OT.

                  And if you are a regular user then I'll suggest to check out the link mentioned by Keneda :
                  https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/

                  You'll find there the updated list of supported devices, no need to create a new topic every couple of months.

                  Thanks for your understanding.

                    The best way for you is to sell your S7 and buy a pinephone.

                      @ramonb You have now posted on this topic in two separate posts a few weeks apart. The answers and advice given will not change no matter how many posts you make. There is no port for this device and one is not being worked on as far as I know. You have been given the link to our porting docs which contain all the information you will need to start your own port.
                      Please do not post this question or a version if it again as if will be deleted.
                      You are more than welcome to seek advice and help on the Forum should you decide to start a port for this device.
                      I am now going to lock this and the other post. Thanks for your understanding.
