At the risk of appearing foolish can anybody tell me how to answer an incoming call on my Nexus 5 with UT? The phone rings and the display shows a green and a red phone icon together with the caller identification. I have single tapped, double tapped, pressed, and swiped the green icon to no avail. Am I doing something wrong or could there be a fault? I have added a dozen or more applications and four ring tones if that is relevant. Making a call is no problem; receiving a call is.

No it doesn't work on my phones.
Swiping from the center to the right (to the green button) is what is working.

I'll try that tomorrow when I can move to somewhere with a signal.

swipe when no mouse is connected
                tap when there is 😉

Also, make sure you don't swipe the whole dialog, I believe that's an outstanding issue.

Thank you folks. Swiping from centre to right was the solution. That's not intuitive or self explanatory, so I wonder if there are other features I am ignorant of. Is there a usage guide available on line? All I have found are installation guides.

@cliffcoggin What we find intuitive or self-explanatory differs greatly from one person to the next... I tried it out when I read your post, because I had not been called on the phone that's running UT yet. I saw a button-like symbol in the middle, with faint arrows towards a red button on the reft and a green button on the right, and it seemed pretty clear to me (but then I'd already read this thread, so that probably counts as cheating).
I find that UT is much more centered around swiping than Android... so I guess: when in doubt, try a swipe.

In hindsight yes the centre button is now clearly a button, but it was not so at first, hence my intuition led me to swipe, tap, push, and batter the green icon, not to mention the verbal abuse I hurled at it. I must be one of the few people in the civilised world, or even the uncivilised, to have never used a smart phone until two weeks ago. Nevertheless I have no regrets about getting it. It does all I want.

Thank you very much for the help. I just experienced this myself. I get so few calls that I wasn't sure it was a bug or something else. I didn't notice anywhere mentioned that they changed how they answer calls (I am pretty sure we used to just tap) but i'll take a feature change over a bug any day.
