<![CDATA[Telegram stays open for a second then closes]]>It opens up for a second or so then closes. Quite annoying.

Is there anyway to grab a log for it so I can post here?

What you might also want to try is to delete the telegram folders inside ~/.cache and ~/.config, that can be done in the terminal or file browser. UT tweak tool also offers an option for that.
