I have a Nexus 6p with Lineage 15.1, I would like to install Ubuntu on it, it says on the UbPorts installer "Reset your android 7.12. Critical vendor files ...."<br />
I tried to install the official 6p ROM, but it doesn't want to install. Only lineage work, with ADB Sideload .... I tried to install Ubuntu with lineage 15.1 instead of Android 7.1.2 (with my Ubuntu computer) but the OS blocked on the 'Ubuntu Recovery' page... Can someone help me please?</p>

The N6P has weird hang ups sometimes. Try switching to 4 core TWRP. It cleared the error and allowed my to re-install factory</p>

If you put the phone in recovery, you can use TWRP to format partitions and then flash the 7.1.2 factory image using that and fastboot.</p>
