Install editor / python

Hello.
How can I install Editor (python) on Ubuntu touch?
Geany, visual code, ctedit - does not now.
I can load the software, then i run it just stops -
You are installing them in a Libertine container, right?
-
@dobey dno what that is. ?
-
How are you trying to install these things? The supported way to install legacy and CLI apps is through Libertine. See http://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/dailyuse/libertine.html

@dobey hello,
download (code-oss_1.50.1-1602745375_arm64.deb)
visual code:
sudo dpkg -i code-oss_1.50.1-1602745375_arm64.debthen run the software then it stops.
-
So i have to install (libertine-container-manager) ?
then i run (libertine-container-manager list-apps)
error:
ontainer_id(): no default container available -
@dobey thanks for info about what name of Libertine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aouooDea1D0)

@007fred50 Right. Electron apps won't work on mir. And we do not support installing additional deb packages in the rootfs.
If you follow the documentation at the link I gave you, you should be able to create a container, and then install packages in the container. However, you MUST NOT install nor use
sudo
in the container, as it will break things, due to libertine using unprivileged containers. Also, while it is the supported method of running legacy and CLI apps, beware that Libertine is still quite an experimental feature, and all apps won't necessarily work correctly or at all with it. Nor will running any legacy apps under it suddenly be adapted for practical usage on a phone or tablet.

You don't support but don't forbide ^^
It can be done at user own risk and OTA, thus system, break.
