      Hi UT users,

      I have a problem on try a

      sudo apt update & sudo apt upgrade

      on my Meizu Pro 5 (Turbo) device.
      Always get this error:

      problem unlinking the file /var/cache/apt/srcpkgcache.bin - removecaches (30: Read-only file system)

      I have this issue after update OTA-11 on OTA_14 😞

        HI, the rootfs is readonly.
        APT is not a supported method to install packages.

        If there are CLI or legacy apps you need to run on your phone, it is better to use a Libertine container.

        The rootfs is an image file updated with each OTA. Remounting the rootfs to RW is not the way because you'll have to redo those steps after each OTA.

          Hi @AppLee , so this is normal behavior for this version of Unbuntu on mobile. Thank you for the precision I worried about the result of this simple command in the terminal ;

            It's perfectly normal for Ubuntu Touch.
            Updates are made via the Open Store for apps and there are OTAs for the whole system.
            No need for command lines.

                You'll have to use the "Topic Tools" menu.
                First you'll have to "Ask as a question" and then use it again to "Mark solved"
