I still don't like Phosh as its far from intuitive and it is lacking of many apps that are optimised for a mobile but coming to performance and things working as they should - just wow ..

There is also a new Alpha with Lomiri but as you might expect an early Alpha isn't as mature as a Beta 3 ...

I was going to ask "where's the camera?", but finally found it. Not intuitive, as you say; I was looking for an icon like a camera or lens. A closer look at the names revealed it...Megapixel :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

But it is still being worked on.

Plasma is shaping up nice. But it still has some quirks. The choice of which desktop gets finished first is a simple matter of who's working on it. The current persons are phosh fans.

It takes time for patches to be accepted into the mainline kernel. A lot of things come as a patched kernel before it becomes mainline.

Firstly, why nearly all distros have chosen phosh as there main environment. Secondly, I thought it was all about building a mainline (kernel) device to reduce a lot for work and now there is a kernel and a camera app extra for the pinephone
