<![CDATA[OTA-15 Call for Testing]]>Hello everyone!

The expected release date for Ubuntu Touch OTA-15 is Wednesday, December 16.

This forum post is a companion to the upcoming OTA-15 call for testing blog post.

Please post any general observations you have while testing the current image in the rc channel, as compared to OTA-14, in this thread. The current release candidate (rc) is 2020-W43

If you have any comments on any of the specific issues in the OTA-15 tracker, please post them in the issue thread so they are easier to track. OTA-15 tracker: https://github.com/orgs/ubports/projects/24

Please note that only critical and security fixes will be able to enter OTA-15 as this point, normal bug fixes and new features will need to wait for our next release. Please do not discuss normal bug fixes and new features here.

I updated my Aquaris with 2020-W50 the 14/12. The bluetooth stopped to work properly.
Device: Aquaris E5 HD ubuntu Edition
Channel: release candidate
Build: 2020-W50
now no chance to connect to VolksWagen car infotainment ;
no chance to set bluetooth to visible mode
no chance to do and receive calls via bluetooth.

Before the update it worked quite good.

I dont know if it is a known issue, but when trying to add account (nextcloud, but its applicable to all) the keyboard is not appearing and cant go any further. Its @ oneplus 3t.

I could not find any bluetooth improvements mentioned in the list that @UniSuperBox linked to in the first post to this thread. So I am afraid there was no basis to expect bluetooth to work better in this OTA than it did before.

EDIT: Just watched the latest Q&A, seems I missed the bluetooth issues in combination with carkits... So ignore me...

About bluetooth connection and VW infotainment system, I still have the same problems: the connection is established, the rubrica is ok but the audio is not always working: as the audio channel selected is the 'wrong one'.
The times that I was able to have also the audio connected properly, after some minutes (independently if during a call or not) the connection falls, like a timeout is reached.

Hello,
my device charges very slowly (after 10 hours of charging it was only on 85%). I needed to charge only once so far, but I've never experienced this before. I will try to switch back to the stable build if the next charging time doesn't improve.
