Is there any way to recover my data from the device or at least reinstall ubuntu-touch? Developer-mode not being enabled, the ubports-installer and adb do not find the device...<br />
Any help will be appreciated...</p>

Have you tried to allow screen rotation and use your phone upside down ?<br />
If it's just the lower part of the screen it should be fine I guess.</p>
