Since I store my videos, music, etc on an SD-Card, I have no idea, what these "other files" might be.<br />
Is there a way to identify them?</p>

Yes, because of confinement, apps should often copy file into their own space.<br />
For media files, the best is to store them in the dedicated folders then the app with matching right can access them directly without the need to copy them.</p>
<p dir="auto">You can see how much space each app is taking if you need to clear that space...</p>

I found most files by just searching the device for big files.<br />
The Media Player App copied every video watched in some folder. That made more than 90% of the "other files".<br />
Maybe I can find the rest, too. But that's not urgent, since they don't make up much space.</p>
