Does this mean I have to look for another provider?</p>

The background is that the old 3G/UMTS-services are going to be turned-off to install more 4G/5G-services. Here in Germany the most providers are going to turn off the 3G-services in the middle of 2021.<br />
This doesn't mean you have to switch to another provider or to other hardware. It only means, that from the pojnt of turn-off you can only use 2G/4G/5G instead of 2G/3G/4G/5G. If your device (BQ E4.5?) only can handle 2G/3G, you can still phone and surf with 2G (of course internet is slower, but still usable for basic things).</p>
