<p dir="auto">Update Rc version was 97 and develop 1927. 1914 to rc 97 wormed before this happened.</p>

IIRC you cannot.<br />
You have to switch channels in order to download another file to overwrite the current one.<br />
Once installed not update will show up.</p>

It needs to be in fastboot to install the recovery. After that you need to be in Recovery for the rest (volume and power down held together).</p>

The install was completed but after rebooting it hanged with ubports screen. I'll try in this afternoon to reinstall.</p>

It should reboot back into the "old" channel normally if the update fails. If not use the installer and DO NOT choose the wipe option.<br />
Edit: make sure the battery is not low on charge also.</p>
