Here is the github repo and KDE community wiki entry. In just a few words:

Link your PCs, Smartphones, Laptops via Wifi or Bluetooth

Share content (send files, share clipboard) encrypted and with nautilus (filemanager) support

Some nifty features for the smartphone:

Find my phone (click on desktop and phone will ring)

See notifcations, take calls, answer on messager on desktop

Send CLI commands/touchscreen/keyboard events to desktop

See phone status (battery) on desktop

Sorry for redundancy, Stefan already mentioned a few of these, i'm just a big fan of this app and would love to see it on UT

You need to install the program on your device(phone&pc).
On the desktop pc you get a icon in the status bar. Here you can open the folder structer from the phone or you can see battery status.
Is there a incoming call you see a pop up on the desktop. If you don't find your device, you can start a "ping"
After that your mobile phone is making beep beep beep
