<p dir="auto">Does anyone know of a music/podcast app that the pause/play function works from the bluetooth headset?</p>
<p dir="auto">If not, is it something the developers may be eventually going to address?</p>

<p dir="auto">Bluetooth is a bit rough around the edges.<br />
For some devices it might work fine, for others not so much.<br />
The user experience seems to vary depending on the phone used and the BT device connected to it...</p>
<p dir="auto">Hopefully the move to 20.04 will bring a newer version of bluez and a better support of devices...</p>
