I have a Nexus 5 currently running Ubuntu Touch OTA-17. I saw the news about OTA-21 and thought i would see if the new version was available yet.

But i now also notice that there were other releases, OTA-18, -19, -20. I've never seen these in the updates dialog. So i'm wondering if i have something misconfigured or something. Software updates have gone well, but i've never seen it inform me of a new OTA.

I realize that OTA releases are not released to everyone at once, but shouldn't i be seeing earlier OTA releases? Where is OTA-19, -20, etc?

I did this on my device too when switching channel (from OTA-19 testing RC to stable channel, while it was not already there for my device, like if stable was an "empty" channel), even if i have no problem getting update (when it comes to me, and for OTA-21 i was today).

It timed out several times, but i ultimately got it to complete. However, shortly after download it gives a signature error. So i'm not sure what's going on with that. Is it related to checksum or similar?
If the one from RC (2021-W52) is the same as WTA-21, i might just stick with it. But it'd be nice to figure out what's going on with this.

Is that the same version as OTA-21? Or will i go to that RC version first, and then update to OTA-21 afterwards?
Or would it be better to try the manual update method instead (using system-image-cli described above)?
Under System Settings, Updates, i see the system "checking for updates", and after a couple seconds, it tells me that Software is up to date. I completely updated all apps a few days ago (it still says my most recent update was Terminal, on January 5). Going through About, Check for Updates leads me to the same Updates page and it again tells me i am up to date.
I do have a wifi or data connection. Everything else about the mobile is working fine.

I have been looking for a reason, but haven't found one yet. I'm not on cellular data or flight mode. Everything else about the mobile works fine. So i agree i might be missing something, but doesn't seem to be with the connection to the world.

Under Update Settings, i am on the Stable channel. I have auto download set to Never, but my understanding of this setting is that it will prompt me to download- it would still tell me an update is available. Indeed, i've updated several other apps.

I'm not in a rush to update, but since i've not seen the other updates, i'm worried i'll never see this update. If i have to do it via the command, i will, but it still feels like something is awry somewhere.
