Nexus 7 flo shuts down absolutely fine, however the Nexus 7 deb restarts on shutdown. This obviously drains the battery. Workaround is to power off the tablet (deb) and when powering off hold the power button and volume down button which will boot you into the bootloader. Then use the volume keys to select power off and press the power button. Tablet remains off...
