The hardware is more than capable but the owners were hanged dry. There is no support whatsoever from Lenovo and the latest build is Android 6. X86 based processor 4GB RAM and desperate owners since there is no development for Android 6 anymore for obvious reasons. We have a good hardware without ANY support. Even has a built in projector... So please, please, pretty please consider this hardware as it has huge potential.

I honestly don't know why companies brick their devices apart from forcing you to buy new and putting the defunct one into landfill.

As your device is not a phone and has a x86 processor, did you consider trying install Ubuntu Desktop on it ?

You must understand that, first, ubports core team and devs are focused on porting to specific devices, like the Vollas and other "promoted", as the Pixel 3a or Pinetab, second, your device must be owned by someone from the community, that wants to port UT on it, and has skills to do so.

Understand that there is very few chances that it goes like that.

Maybe if you find someone that has skills but not your device, you can lend him yours so he can work on it, here again, that could be a dead end.

Now i'll move the thread on off topic as it is the house rules to do so with this kind of topics ^^
