<![CDATA[The video recording on the Fairphone 2 is atrocious.]]>Hi.

It's always been hit or miss. Lately, it seems worse than ever. Today, I tried to record a simple video (<1 minute long) 3 times, all failed. On playback, it plays and then just stops. The worst part is that when recording, you have no idea if the video will be corrupt or not as there's no warning. It's so frustrating! I had hoped that after being out for a good few years, that issues on these older phones would be sorted out.

Possibly. But I don't fancy having to reinstall loads of apps and tweak settings again.

Hi. No, I meant I did a reinstall a while back. I've not changed anything. I will just use the video recording feature rarely. I don't want to reinstall everything just to fix that. πŸ™‚

But the fairphone 2 being almost outdated, you will need a miracle for this bug to be resolved. Miracles happen but it will be better to think about investing in a more recent maintained model. And there is everything to gain from being able to follow the wave (of innovations).
