Am I missing some configuration?</p>

Mine worked initially, but at some point I had no internet, despite my data working on the phone and the hotspot connection seeming fine, like you describe.</p>
<p dir="auto">I disconnected with my laptop, and then on my phone went to System Settings --&gt; Hotspot --&gt; Change Password/Setup and changed the name of the hotspot. This was enough to need to choose the newly named wifi network and enter the password again on my laptop, and then it worked again.</p>
<p dir="auto">Hard to say if that will help you, but perhaps worth a shot? I'm no expert, and my experience with this is very limited.<br />
I was using a Oneplus 5 and a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop that was either in Windows 10 or Ubuntu, I can't recall.</p>
