I also had a Telegram account I never used so I got myself on the NA carrier group so I’ll read on that to learn stuff lol

Only P2XL and OP6T are capable of receiving VoLTE calls right now, OP6T can make calls, but it's very buggy. We need testers.

It would be helpful to those affected if you could add a link here.

That's right, it would not. For now.
The devs and porters of UT are taking this problem seriously, and a solution is something that is considered to have a high priority.

@keneda I live in the US. The phone itself is great, and works good, just can’t talk and send messages LoL!

As you live in the US, where cell providers shut down 2G and 3G, yes, no matter what phone you choose... Call will not work.

But i believe you should be able to use messaging, even if i'm not sure about that.

For calling, you can workaround the VoLTE not working (for now) under Ubuntu Touch issue by using a SIP provider, because data on 4G is working.

That is not a Pixel 3a problem. I believe your problem is that calling in your area (US) relies on VoLTE nowadays. UT does not currently support VoLTE, so the Op6t would not solve that problem.

What will solve the problem is UT getting VoLTE support. And that is not around the corner yet, but it's being worked on and progress is being made.

Pixel 3a is the best supported phone, it has all its functions working under Ubuntu Touch.
What's not working ?
