<p dir="auto">It seems that the company <a href="http://BQ.com" rel="nofollow ugc">BQ.com</a> is not in the market of cellphones anymore. Any idea about some repair company for BQ devices? Thanks</p>

In my case for my BQ E5 HD android that I flashed UT years ago, it's the power button that gives me trouble and responds badly: not easy to turn my BQ on or off. It is true that I hardly use it anymore except for tests or on wifi.</p>

Some part of me does want to still savage it I mean it was my very first UT phone and actually the first phone I ever bought with my own money <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f604.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--smile" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😄" alt="😄" /> And it was also still usable especially for testing stuffs. I think mine has cracks in the body itself but let's see, maybe in the future <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f601.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--grin" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😁" alt="😁" /></p>

You know the price of the screen so you can calculate the gain of the shop.<br />
BQ was a popular brand in Spain for buying mid range phones manufactured in China, but after making a deal with a Vietnamese, I think, company to enter that market, they suddenly disappeared. They left no more sign or track. The first, and then the only, ubuntu phone manufacturer suddenly disappeared.</p>

I also own a Bq Aquaris E4.5. This weekend I sat while having the phone on the back pocket of my trousers and the screen broke. <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f61e.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--disappointed" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":(" alt="😞" /> For the second time <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f61e.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--disappointed" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":(" alt="😞" /> Well the first one was not my fault <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /><br />
Anyway, the first time I bought the screen (the whole screen I mean, LCD and glass) from <a href="https://www.impextrom.com/es/pantalla-completa-ips-lcd-lcd-display-ventana-tactil-y-digitalizador-en-negra-bq-aquaris-e4-5-p999988890" rel="nofollow ugc">this store</a>. It costs 15.73 € with taxes. If your purchase is higher than 15€ (without taxes), it is delivered to Spain and you buy it between 14:00 and 15:00 o’clock, there is no shipping cost. So I also bought a 128 MB SD card.<br />
The provided link also shows a video were you can see how to replace the screen. I did it myself and it was not difficult at all. Just take out some screws, detaching some connectors, but no soldering and the like. Afterwards it worked perfectly, until this weekend …<br />
Yesterday and today I was delivering what else to buy to save the shipping cost. Tomorrow I think I would buy another screen.<br />
I think you can buy and replace it with the aid of the video.<br />
Good luck. <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /><br />
<a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/kugiigi" aria-label="Profile: kugiigi">@<bdi>kugiigi</bdi></a> maybe you can find spare parts for your device in the provided link.</p>

It's unusable now though I don't really use it anymore. Would have still been better if it still works though since I can still use it for testing and for the memories <img src="https://forums.ubports.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f604.png?v=eeff4b5fc81" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--smile" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😄" alt="😄" /><br />
Maybe you can buy a replacement screen and find a generic phone repair shop. Surprisingly these parts are still available out there. I was still able to replace my MX4's battery just last year.</p>
