New to UBports and I made a huge mistake to not preparing my device properly before installation. Therefore when the installations guide asked me to turn on the phone in recovery mode, it was full hard bricked.

Do I have any options or the best is to bring my phone to be repaired?

Hold power + vol up for ten second then release. Then press just power again. Hopefully it reboots. If not use MSMdownloadtool as described in the post several above this one.

Unplug from the PC and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. Leave it a minute then power it on. It should come back to life.

Further on, when it comes back to life, boot in recovery, then plug it into the PC to continue the UT installation.

I turned on my phone to reboot to bootloader and it was unresponsive.

As it is a refurbished phone that received a shock ( the postman did throw the box on the floor) the problem might not be due to UBports but already existing / ubports didn't do anything in the matter. But just wanted to check if the issue is due to the installation.

and thank you for the help
