My device im using for ubuntu touch is a xaiomi redmi note 9 pro is hardware acceleration enabled for this i cant tell i know it dont work under waydroid because video not loading correctly</p>

Unless you're running some unfinished halium 7 port (like fp2 used to work) in which case everything, including scrolling on webpages, will be quite laggy - you are using hw acceleration. Waydroid is using it as well, and I remember playing clips reliably on it with vlc. However it's ressource heavy and might induce lag because of this... Now if your device is running mainline I guess the problem lies elsewhere - most likely waydroid integration</p>

If it does, maybe the Pinephone is a more similar device to check.</p>
<p dir="auto">UT's rendering is hardware accelarated in most devices. What you mentioned about video playback is a different thing. There are devices with that bug concerning local video playback but generally local video playback is hardware accelerated. Media playback on webviews is not.</p>
