<![CDATA[UBPorts on a SM-A520F]]>Hello everyone.
I successfully installed UBPorts from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-a5-7-2017-ubuntu-touch-ubports.4446669/

But that ROM is very old (Xenial Xerus). I used that because I couldn't find anything as compatible (as far as I understood, the guy on XDA personally ported to the device)

So please, can anyone help me clarify this situation? I can neither use Libertine =(

I just flashed it and works, didn't test much hardware yet.

Edit: I'd just point out, in the first post on the XDA thread, the author wrote some links to his source code.
A little below, he also links a GitHub profile for a user with contributions to Samsung related stuff.

You installed Ubuntu Touch (not UBports; the community is called UBports, the OS is called Ubuntu Touch) in an inofficial way on a device (Samsung Galaxy A5, I assume?) that UBports does not support, and that will most likely mean that we can't help you with it.

It would be a lot better if the person who made that would take the time to make a real, official port and not a ZIP.
