<![CDATA[Can I make internet calls (VoIP, SIP)?]]>Hi, I've just started using UBports on a Nexus5 and I'm wondering if there's any way I can make internet calls? I had hoped Telegram would work for this but it seems very restricted and I'm using it with the desktop app at the moment.
If not is it in development?
Other than that I'm really impressed with the OS and handset, cheers.

But actually my hope lies in [matrix] that Riot and uMatrix are going to integrate a SIP client or enhance Jitsi maybe.

But expect to have a beta soon 😉

I was even able to make a first SIP call. Then I started to hack something together in Qt (baresip has a nice way to integrate other UI), but I gave up due to lack of time 😞 There must be some post with my UI in the LP mailing list...

The way i would like it is integrated with the phone app as described in this post: https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg16455.html . A very nice thing from the information in his post is that it seems to be a small job to implement it. 🙂
