I then get out of flight mode, getting ready to laboriously restart Lomiri so I can get cellular data again and finish watching my video, when suddenly the truth hits me - I won't need to do that. In a fever, i frantically turn cellular data on and off - no way ! It's not greyed out ! It's working ! Not believing my eyes, it try flight mode again - and out of it. I have to face it: flight mode, after years of being a pain in the neck of every UT user, is fixed !!! Hosannah !!!
On a more serious note: this means the world to me. This has been something unnerving to me for so long, a bug that followed me from the FP2 to the 1+1 to this Pixel and I had lost but all hope. Not only does this mean misclicks are not such an issue now; it also means flight mode is now actually usable.
Thanks so much for the work - to whoever made this fix, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and no doubt, on behalf of the whole community. Because I know we spend more time rambling about what's janky in this lovely OS, this kind of stuff needs to be highlighted. On a less fundamental aspect, I have to say the fingerprint sensor is also quite reliable these days.
