<![CDATA[Focal on Xperia X]]>I saw the xperia x listed as a supported device here and instantly jumped to flashing, but after many tries from both the installer (ubports on desktop) and the built in update system in xenial It never worked.
Is there something i overlooked?
It always says "Update failed, please reboot and try again..." after wich it only boots into ubports recovery.
Would there be some kind of way to enable verbose logging or a log file i can access to see whats going wrong.
PC is running ubuntu 22.04 and im on the UBports 0.9.8-beta installer.
Phone does boot into xenial fine and works like a charm but i would really want to check out the waydroid compatibility.

I don't think the installer makes that much of a difference. Are you trying to flash the dev release of 20.04?

I downloaded the installer via the snap store and im on ubuntu 23.04.

I think the difference is that the porter found and fixed a problem. Have you tried it yet since I posted?

Also a general question where can i find any log file of the failed flash on the device itself and how do i access it?

It is not reporting its battery charge level correctly... it's telling me that it's empty, when it is in fact 100% full. But that's a detail and this is a dev build. So far, so good.
