every application runs slowly and lags, drops a lot of frames, while cpu load is abnormally high
the web browser and any web apps are practically unusable due to this, any web page i open runs at like 5 fps
i've searched for this issue online but haven't found anything on it
after watching some youtube videos of how ut runs on the nexus 5 i think i am the only one to encounter this
is it a known issue at all, or have i run into some very specific configuration? it is like this on a fresh unmodified install too

Can't remember if it was better before when I actually used it. I updated to the latest (04/2023) and I do noticed that the system is overall more sluggish. Not really sure what's happening here. I really wish the installer is capable of installing specific version. On the unsupported MutiROM on my Nexus 5, it's possible to specify which version to install so I think it should be technically possible.

i am hoping the problem could be resolved soon, because i need to use alarms and reminders while also being able to occasionally look up information on the go
maybe you could tell me where can i see some logs related to it so i can try figuring out the reasons behind low performance?

i don't think this is a hardware issue since ut vivid and android run fine

If anything, it should be smoother now. Have you tried fully reflashing (wiping data) if that's something you're okay to do?
I realized this is quite similar to my MX4. It suddenly felt so sluggish and charges so long. I already wiped it clean but still the same. Not really sure what happened to it. Maybe it's already a hardware issue.

tried it from different computers running silverblue and opensuse, still run into the same result
i know the hammerhead is supposed to run ut well, i have been using it on vivid without problem, but when i installed xenial i noticed everything no more runs so well, even the ui is somewhat laggy, the frame drop is pretty noticeable where it wasn't present before
