Hello,
ota-2 is now installed on my OnePlus5 T with Ubports installer.
This installation was not easy, because I had to "play" a lot with the buttons of the device to get the Bootloader then Recovery and many installation failures with Ubports installer.
The procedure with the power button and the up sound for Bootloader didn't work, so I did the installation by clicking on Installation (the update downloaded to the OnePlus), Then the device restarted on Recovery (which was therefore the bug mentioned) and I chose Bootloader and at that point I followed the instructions of Ubports installer on which the update was downloading, then I clicked as suggested on Recovery and my OnePlus device performed the installation and therefore, the update to Ota-2 was finally installed.
So, yes, I hope that OTA-2 to OTA-3 will be easier to install after rebooting the phone.

I'd like to thank you for taking part in this adventure, which has paid off in the end because Ota-2 has, of course, fixed a few bugs and added a few options:

  • the SIM unlock prompt is present when the phone starts up;
  • the notification LED lights up again after a call or 1 message
    ... and other small improvements ; ( ... I don't have the problem with Torchlight ... )
    For the OnePlus 5T, there's still the camera sound that's still missing and a few translations to do on the device's screen.

Unfortunately, I rejoiced too quickly because
the Notification Led Light after an external call or a received sms or message worked only 1 time after the update to ota-2.
That's strange ...
