@Kolp0099 You cannot just request a port it does not work like that. Each phone needs it's own port which takes a lot of dedication and time details here

That's cool, but I'm not sure you realise what you are asking for. Making a port is not a quick or easy job, it takes weeks, sometimes months. And the porter can't do it without having the device in hands.
Since you clearly are interested in using Ubuntu Touch, I would suggest going the other way around: get one of the supported devices.

@Moem I don't want to buy another phone just to buy a phone with poor parameters. I will wait up to a year for the port on my phone

Is anyone planning to start porting Ubuntu Touch to Motorola Edge 30?

I am planing to do a port for Motorola edge 30 neo , because I have that device. But first I want to make sure the port I currently maintain (miatoll) is stable enought. So I have no ETA when I would start working on new port.
Unfortunately this 2 devices use different chipsets so port for neo won't work on edge 30. But just switching the kernel to the right kernel might work.

@Kolp0099 well I will let you know if I start working on edge 30 neo and if I can translate that port to work on edge 30 too
But I cannot make any promises because as I said I am currently trying to maintain miatoll devices and I want to make sure that this port is stable before I start working on another one.

My point is that a port for Motorola edge 30 should start being developed as soon as possible by whomever

@Kolp0099 please stop. Maybe English is not your first language, but now you sound like you are demanding a port be started simply because you can test it. That is not how this works., as you have now been told repeatedly.
Just announcing your availability to test does not make it so anyone is required to start a port for the device you happen to have.

Well then try starting it your self. Nobody can force someone to start a port.
