So i got out my old Lenovo Tab M10 X605F today which had 16.04 stable on it and wanted to give 20.04 ago, so i re flashed it using the installer (app image) all went fine and installed successfully, asked me to remove usb.. then went on to installing updated for 5 mins and then rebooted and stuck on Lenovo logo.</p>
<p dir="auto">Tried to reboot, factory reset (can get into recovery) nothing, tried to flash again.. still the same.<br />
tried reinstalling 16.04 back on it and it doing the same, stuck on boot logo.</p>
<p dir="auto">Any tips??<br />

<p dir="auto">Not really. But it seems that it still can happen, that it doesn't boot from time to time.<br />
Reinistalling the system, using the installer (without wipe and without bootstrap) did help in my case.</p>

Put the unzipped image into the folder containing the fastboot executable and open a command prompt in that folder.</p>

<p dir="auto">And if it still doesn't boot, reinstall focal with the installer without wipe and without bootstrap.</p>
<p dir="auto">I find that booting process with the new bootimage is more stable than before.<br />
Sadly I could not integrate it in the installer yet.</p>

Try booting in Recovery,bwait a couple of minutes then reboot. Be patient it will take about five minutes to boot in. Then you will be on 20.04.</p>
