<![CDATA[Little help with my Lenovo Tab M10 X605F]]>Hey..
So i got out my old Lenovo Tab M10 X605F today which had 16.04 stable on it and wanted to give 20.04 ago, so i re flashed it using the installer (app image) all went fine and installed successfully, asked me to remove usb.. then went on to installing updated for 5 mins and then rebooted and stuck on Lenovo logo.

Tried to reboot, factory reset (can get into recovery) nothing, tried to flash again.. still the same.
tried reinstalling 16.04 back on it and it doing the same, stuck on boot logo.

Any tips??

Not really. But it seems that it still can happen, that it doesn't boot from time to time.
Reinistalling the system, using the installer (without wipe and without bootstrap) did help in my case.

Put the unzipped image into the folder containing the fastboot executable and open a command prompt in that folder.

p.s my fingers are killing me 🙂

And if it still doesn't boot, reinstall focal with the installer without wipe and without bootstrap.

I find that booting process with the new bootimage is more stable than before.
Sadly I could not integrate it in the installer yet.

It will boot. You have to be patient and persistent.

Try booting in Recovery,bwait a couple of minutes then reboot. Be patient it will take about five minutes to boot in. Then you will be on 20.04.
